Our Story Fueled by a dedication to innovation coupled with a passion for US manufacturing, founder Thomas Chen opened the doors of Crystal in 1990. Over the course of three decades, the company grew from a modest local operation in Flushing, Queens to one of the largest window manufacturers in North America. Today, Crystal employs roughly 800 staff members across five plants and its products are distributed in more than 40 states. True to its roots, the company’s corporate headquarters remain in New York City, at a state-of-the-art 215,000 sq.ft manufacturing facility in Queens, NY. Additional plants are in Scranton, PA, Chicago, IL, Riverside, CA, and Union, MO and construction have begun on a 6th plant in Mansfield, Texas has begun.
