Baylor Jeppsen is a co-founder of Bidi Contracting, where he builds AI-powered construction estimating and bid management software for General Contractors. He grew up around the construction industry and has spent years working directly with GC and subcontractor teams on takeoff workflows, preconstruction operations, and construction technology adoption. Before starting Bidi, he helped roll out technology systems across large organizations and has a deep understanding of how estimating teams actually work in practice, not just in theory. He studied Information Systems at BYU and holds a Masters of Information Systems Management, and was part of the university's Sandbox entrepreneurship program. Based in Utah County, his writing focuses on practical tools and honest trade-offs that help contractors bid more work without burning out their estimating teams.
